The Eagleton Science and Politics Program (ESPP) is accepting applications for the Eagleton Science and Politics Fellowship.
Doctoral-level natural scientists, engineers, and healthcare professionals apply their expertise to assist New Jersey legislators and decision-makers on the design and implementation of state policies.
The Science Fellowship offers three tracks:
Legislative Track – placement in one of four partisan offices (Democrat and Republican Assembly or Senate offices )
Executive Track – placement in one of New Jersey State departments and agencies
Climate Action Track – placement in the Division of Clean Energy at the NJ Board of Public Utilities

Many ESPF alumni have been retained by their placement office as full-time employees, others pursue careers on the federal level as legislative aides, fellows, and program managers; in government affairs; policy analysis; NIH and National Academies; K-12 and higher education; consulting; and others.
