Our minimum qualification is:

Doctoral degree (ideally within 7 or 8 years) is required. Exceptional candidates with a new doctoral degree or advanced doctoral candidates in a relevant field will be considered.

1. Cover Letter:

• Please briefly tell us about yourself, your motivation for applying to Xuemin, your long-term ambitions, your research highlights, and how they align with Xuemin’s missions, and evidence of originality, creativity and impact.
• Please list a few experts who could unbiasedly evaluate your work.
• Please also indicate your anticipated start date, any specific research needs or requirements, and any other information relevant or helpful for us to consider.

2. Curriculum Vitae:
   Please include a list of your peer-reviewed publications, any major prize/award and patents. If you have been involved in start-ups or product development, you can include relevant information as well.
3. Research Statement (up to 5 pages, optional diagram):

Please summarize your past research, key fundamental questions you intend to pursue and novel technical foundations you might have, and future research plans. You can include a short movie if it helps explain your work.

4. Milestone Publications:

Please include up to five of your most significant publications (PDF copies).

5. Please include a list of at least five names for recommendation, together with their contact information.
