ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for an Early Childhood – Assistant Coordinator/Educational Leader to join our Joondalup Early Learning and Development Service (ELDS).

You will be a part of a passionate Leadership Team whose primary focus is providing a safe learning environment to children aligned to our way of working.

DUTIES

You will be primarily off the floor however will provide in room support for cover as needed. As the Assistant Coordinator/Educational Leader you will:

  • Coach and mentor Early Childhood Educators in their implementation of the Ngala Early Childhood Curriculum, the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF)
  • Support the Centre Coordinator in the daily operations of the service
  • Focus on strengths-based practice with a view towards continuous improvement
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with Educators, children, families, and our community
  • Support a positive team culture, that is reflective and committed to continuous improvement

ABOUT YOU

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Current TRBWA registration for Early Childhood Teachers
  • A current first aid certificate, including asthma and anaphylaxis
  • Valid WA Working with Children’s Check
  • Satisfactory National Police Clearance obtained within the last 6 months
  • A desire to continually improve your skills and knowledge to achieve the best outcomes for children through regular professional development
