- Permanent Full-time – 35 hours per week
- Salary: $65,572 – $75,408 p.a. plus Allowances and Superannuation

Our early childhood services are community focused and well established. Since the 1970s, Council has had a strong and unique involvement in services for children and families. Council runs high quality services including four Early Education Centres, a Family Day Care Service, and a Family Support Program.
Waverley Council is currently looking for an Early Childhood Educator to join our team at one of our four Early Education Centres.
The position will involve:
- Collaboration and teamwork to deliver a high-quality education program for children 0-5 years.
- Advocate for the rights of children to support inclusive practices and their voice.
- Compliance with regulatory requirements and to follow policies and procedures, including having a good understanding of child protection guidelines and child safe standards
- Communication skills that support building relationships with children, families, and team members.
- Demonstrated familiarity and strong commitment to the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework.
The ideal applicant will be a dedicated professional, who is enthusiastic and reliable, willing to learn and grow in a well-supported environment.
You will have:
- Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- NSW Working with Children Check.
- Current First Aid, CPR and Child Protection qualification.
- Australian residency or citizenship or working permit.
- Two doses of approved COVID-19 vaccination, with the willingness to comply with additional health requirements (including booster vaccination).
