About the opportunity
As an Educator for our Kindergarten in Hadfield, you will be part of a small team to delivering kindergarten programs that support the wider community and provide high quality education and care to children.
This unique opportunity will provide the opportunity to work with our Service Leader to establish and grow an exceeding program with strong ties to school and community.
Working to one of the National or Victorian early learning frameworks, you will:
- Support the development and delivery an educational program that meets the interests and abilities of each child
- Help to increase enrolments and build the program to include other services that meet community needs
- Participate in delivering a quality and diverse educational program that sees every child actively participate

In addition to receiving a VECTEA salary commencing at $23.16 / hour (experience dependent) and superannuation, you’ll also receive 17.5% leave loading and an ability to increase your take-home pay by accessing up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits. You will also be able to access paid parental leave for up to 10 weeks and can receive a 10% discount on the childcare subsidy gap fee when using a Uniting Early Learning service or centre.
About you
To be successful in your application you will meet the person specification in the position description, including having a Certificate 3 in Children’s Services (or equivalent as approved by Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority).
You will also have:
- Prior experience working in a kindergarten and / or other early childhood service providing high-quality care and educational services for children.
- A sound knowledge and understanding of early childhood learning and development.
