Our early childhood services are community focused and well established. Since the 1970s, Council has had a strong and unique involvement in services for children and families. Council runs high quality services including four Early Education Centres, a Family Day Care Service, and a Family Support Program. 

Waverley Council are currently looking for an Early Childhood Educator Float to work within our Early Education Centres.  The role will involve working as part of a team and being responsible for providing high quality care and education for children up to the age of 5 years, including those with additional needs. The role will require the person to be able to communicate effectively with children, have good customer service skills, sound oral and written skills and communicate with parents.

The ideal applicant will be a dedicated professional, who is enthusiastic and reliable, willing to learn and grow in a well-supported environment.

You will have:

  • Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.
  • NSW Working with Children Check.
  • Current First Aid, CPR and Child Protection qualification.
  • Australian residency or citizenship or working permit.
  • Two doses of approved COVID-19 vaccination, with the willingness to comply with additional health requirements (including booster vaccination).
