Anglicare (NSW South, West & ACT) is seeking warm, energetic individuals to join our team based at Googong Early Learning Centre, located on the school campus of the Anglican School Googong, NSW. This position is to commence on 8th January 2024.
The opportunity
As an Early Childhood Educator at Anglicare, you will play a key role in supporting our teams in implementing and delivering high-quality educational play-based preschool programs for children aged 3-5 years.
You will establish warm, nurturing relationships with each child and friendly, supportive relationships with their families while attending to children’s health and well-being throughout the day. As an Educator, you will contribute to and support our teams in developing and facilitating educational programs informed by the principles, practices, and outcomes of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and/or My Time, Our Place (MTOP) to provide children with the best possible start in life.
What’s needed to succeed?
- ACECQA-approved Diploma qualification or equivalent in Early Childhood Education and Care, or actively working towards this qualification
- Experience working in an early childhood education and care setting, with a strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework, and relevant legislation and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- High level of energy, enthusiasm, and creativity, with a passion for supporting children’s learning and development
