About the opportunity
As the Service Leader for our early learning centre in Hopetoun, you will oversee a small team of Educators to deliver early learning programs that support the wider community and provide high quality education and care to children.
This part-time ongoing position is for 64 hours per fortnight. Our beautiful centre boasts large outdoor spaces, chickens gardening beds and a worm farm.
The Service Leader will support our team with providing social and educational activities to build a child’s sense of belonging, resilience, kindness and community.
The role will include both operational management and rostered time spent as part of the ratioed team providing direct service to children.

In addition to receiving a salary commencing at $32.25 / hour and superannuation, you’ll also receive 17.5% leave loading and an ability to increase your take-home pay by accessing up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits. About you
You enjoy working autonomously while being part of, and supported by, a collaborative and forward-thinking team. You can develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, with empathy and support at the forefront of your work.
You’ll also bring with you:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care or equivalent Approved Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority qualification (please check Position Description)
- Experience gained in Early Childhood
- Strong organisation and planning skills, including high attention to detail
