About the role
Located on Koroit Street in the heart of Warrnambool, our childcare service provides localised early learning in the community we know and love.
As the Service Leader, you will support our team with providing social and educational activities to build a child’s sense of belonging, resilience, kindness and teamwork.
The service has a single room, providing occasional care to a mix of ages, operating from 9am to 2pm, Tuesday to Friday.
Your role will include both operational management and rostered time spent as part of the ratioed team providing direct service to children.

It’s a part time permanent role, working Tuesday to Friday from 8:30am to 2:30pm + time for admin and planning.

About you
For this role you will have:
- A Diploma in Children’s Services (or equivalent as approved by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority)
- A current First Aid certificate suitable for an educational setting (including CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma)
- A current employee Working with Children Check
You will also have experience in the Early Childhood field, and the ability to gain approval as an Authorised Supervisor.
