About us

Outerspace are an award winning Landscape and Urban Design practice, working across the sectors
including large scale residential, education, commercial and health care.

We work with other design consultancies at the Boathouse Design Studio, a Grade 2 Listed
Building on the riverside in Teddington. The office is located between Kingston and Richmond, a
30-minute train journey from London Waterloo.

In Outerspace we strive to get a balance between work and play and the professional development
of staff is incredibly important to us. This is demonstrated through our award of ‘Investors in
People’ Silver accreditation and winning the Pro-Landscaper Business Award 2018. The team works
a condensed 4.5 day week, with the office shutting at Friday lunchtime. Staff can also work one and a half days a week from home.

Our office environment offers a friendly, calming but creatively challenging studio. The
Outerspace team are encouraged and supported to achieve the best they can in their career
development, whilst enjoying a healthy work life balance.
