An Enrollment Counselor Level II works with leadership and fellow team members to manage the new student qualification/enrollment process and ensure achievement of all performance objectives. This is a metrics driven position.
What You Will Do:
Establish relationships and guide potential students through the IMPACT process utilizing social selling.
Actively utilize the guidelines provided on leading and lagging indicators
Foster an environment of cooperation and teamwork amongst team members and fellow team leads.
Understand what the team WIG’s are for the fiscal year and how this role supports those WIG’s.
Partner with other departments as necessary to finalize the enrollment process, including the Accounting, Student Services and Helpdesk teams.
Utilizing LinkedIn and other relevant social media platforms to assist with IMPACT process, help differentiate eCornell as thought leaders.
Ability to use our systems to accomplish these goals: Salesforce, Destiny, SMS Magic, and Calendly.
Provides research and guidance for programs. Solicits customers.
Assists in the development of promotional presentations or demonstrations
Provides customer interaction through inbound and outbound calls to promote program offerings.
Follow-up with customers and others as necessary to assure all factors are considered; prepares evaluation of recommendations.
Assist customers; resolve customer issues through researching circumstances; provide customer inquiries on status, policies, etc.
Researches and looks for opportunities for new customer pipeline; pursues opportunities to manage customer base.
Maintains program quota within assigned territory by keeping customers informed about available current and future programs.
Builds and maintains internal and external relationships that lead to increased enrollment; recommend programs by calling prospective and established customers; keep records and prepare reports on activities.
What you will need:
High School Diploma and 4 to 6 years experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
Proven sales or related experience required
Must be detail-oriented and organized.
Must be focused on achieving optimum levels of service while maintaining high ethical standards
Must be able to provide excellent customer service to potential and newly enrolling students
Must have strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
At least 1 year experience as a Level I Enrollment Counselor or equivalent experience
