Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with course work in environmental or experiential education, natural sciences, or related field, or equivalent lived or work experience
- One year+ experience facilitating educational youth programs, preferably outdoors
- Demonstrated commitment to learning about and implementing principles of justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion with all staff and program participants
- Familiarity with Southwest Oregon ecology and communities
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle with full liability car insurance coverage
- First-Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain certification prior to first teaching day (SOLC will reimburse this cost). Wilderness First Aid or Wilderness First Responder certification preferred.
- Spanish language proficiency or fluency preferred
- Satisfactory background check as verified records check
- Genuine enthusiasm for land conservation and youth education
