Education Design & Assessment Expert – UN Project in Pakistan.
We are seeking a proficient and seasoned Education Design & Assessment Expert to contribute to a UN-funded project in Pakistan, with a specific focus on the education sector, especially in the province of Baluchistan. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in the development of formative and summative assessment mechanisms for evaluating classroom learning.
Responsibilities: As an Assessment Expert with our team, you will play a pivotal role in:
- Reviewing and enhancing our research proposal for the development of summative and formative assessment mechanisms tailored to the education landscape in Balochistan.
- Providing technical guidance on the evaluation and assessment of educational programs, steering the team through inception, data collection, and report writing phases.
- Assessing the effectiveness of educational initiatives and suggesting enhancements.
- Collaborating closely with our team to ensure project success.

Requirements: To be eligible for this role, you should have:
- A relevant master’s degree in the education sector, assessment, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in implementing assessment mechanisms, particularly in the education sector.
- Proven experience working with UN agencies or UNICEF, with preference given to those with a background in reviewing proposals or involvement in donor-funded projects.
- Specific regional experience in Pakistan, with a focus on Baluchistan. Understanding of the education system in Pakistan is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- The ability to work collaboratively and independently.
