Education Officer

Wintershall CIO is looking for a passionate and dynamic Education Officer to join our growing team.

Location: Wintershall, Bramley
Contract: Part-time (18-24hrs a week), term-time only
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

About the Role:

The Education Officer will play a key role in delivering Wintershall’s Education Programme throughout the school year. They will work closely with the current Education Officer and Education Team to provide memorable and inspiring workshops and events both onsite and in schools, supporting teachers, students, and Wintershall volunteers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead engaging workshops, retreats, and outdoor learning experiences.
• Work with primary and secondary school students, as well as staff groups.
• Collaborate with the Education Team and volunteers to enhance the programme.
• Ensure all activities align with Wintershall’s mission to experience the Christian story through the creative arts, drama and in the beauty of God’s world.

About You:

We are looking for a qualified teacher who:

• Is enthusiastic about Christian education and storytelling.
• Has experience working with children and young people.
• Is confident leading large groups in an outdoor setting.
• Is dynamic and creative, with a positive can-do attitude.
• Shares our belief that understanding the Christian story is essential to making sense of the modern world.
