Summary of the position
The Education Specialist supports the educational and developmental needs of children with disabilities, behavioral disorders, autism, and developmental disorders. The specialist is responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized plans, and following up on cases. Additionally, the specialist convenes sessions with caregivers to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to each child’s education and treatment
Key relationships:
Psychiatrist, psychologist, PSS workers, MHPSS Center staff
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the educational needs of individuals with developmental disorders, mental retardation, behavioral disorders, and autism.
- Develop and implement the treatment and follow-up plans for each beneficiary based on Her/ His specific needs.
- Develop behavioral guidance programs for families and supervise follow-up and implementation, collaborate with families, and caregivers, to ensure a holistic approach to treatment and education.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of clients, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- convene a group session for the beneficiaries and/or their caregivers based on the need
- Holding weekly and monthly meetings with the Team Leader / submitting the required monthly reports.
- Performing any other tasks assigned to it within his competence.
THE CANDIDATE’S REQUIREMENTS
Mandatory Qualifications required.
- A bachelor’s degree in psychology or a bachelor’s degree in education is Mandatory.
- A bachelor’s degree in special education / Psychological counseling is desirable.
- One year of proven work experience in developmental disorders, behavioral disorders, mental retardation, ADHD, autism, down syndrome, learning disorders, or related experience is required.
Languages:
- Fluent level in Arabic language

The salary will be defined according to the SAMS Turkey Office salary scale.
