Purpose of the Position
The Education Supervisor will oversee the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of TdH’s education programs in the specified location. This role ensures that educational initiatives meet the standards and objectives set by TdH and its donor UNICEF, contributing to the overall mission of improving children’s access to quality education.
Key Responsibilities
Program Implementation:
Support the implementation of education programs and initiatives.
Ensure programs are executed according to plans and schedules.
Provide technical assistance and support to educational staff and partners.
Monitoring and Evaluation:
Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation plans for education programs.
Conduct regular field visits to monitor program activities and progress.
Collect and analyze data to assess program impact and outcomes.
Prepare and submit regular reports on program performance.
Capacity Building:
Organize and facilitate training workshops for teachers, educational staff, and partners.
Develop training materials and resources to support program objectives.
Support continuous professional development of educational personnel.
Coordination and Collaboration:
Collaborate with government authorities, NGOs, and other stakeholders.
Participate in education sector meetings and coordination forums.
Foster strong partnerships to enhance program effectiveness and sustainability.
Advocacy and Communication:
Advocate for children’s right to education in various platforms and forums.
Communicate program goals, strategies, and results to stakeholders.
Develop and disseminate communication materials such as case studies, success stories, and reports.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
Qualifications and Experience
University degree in Education, Social Sciences, or a related field.
At least 1 years of professional experience in education program implementation and supervision.
Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation of education programs.
Strong knowledge of education policies, practices, and strategies.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in English, Kurdish and Arabic
Demonstrates TdH and UNICEF values and ethical standards.
Strong supervisory and management skills.
Ability to work in a multicultural environment and establish harmonious working relationships.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
