Education Team Leader

Description

Key Responsibilities

– Program Management:

  – Lead the development and implementation of education programs.

  – Ensure programs are aligned with TdH’s strategic priorities and policies and considering Donor polices.

  – Oversee budget planning and management for education programs.

  – Monitor program progress and ensure timely and high-quality delivery of results.

 

– Team Leadership:

  – Manage and supervise the education team, providing guidance and support.

  – Foster a positive team environment and ensure staff development and capacity building.

  – Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.

 

– Partnership and Coordination:

  – Liaise with government authorities, NGOs, and other stakeholders.

  – Represent TdH in education sector coordination meetings and forums.

  – Develop and maintain strong partnerships to support program objectives.

 

– Advocacy and Communication:

  – Advocate for children’s right to education in various platforms and forums.

  – Ensure effective communication of program goals, strategies, and results.

  – Produce regular reports, case studies, and communication materials.

 

– Monitoring and Evaluation:

  – Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation plans.

  – Conduct field visits to assess program implementation and impact.

  – Ensure data collection and analysis to inform program improvements.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

Qualifications and Experience

– Advanced university degree in Education, Social Sciences, or a related field.

– At least 2 years of professional experience in education program management.

– Proven experience in leading and managing teams.

– Strong knowledge of education policies, practices, and strategies.

– Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

– Fluency in English, Kurdish and Arabic.
