About the Opportunity
The position involves working in Before School, After School, and Vacation Care programs, with a capacity to serve up to 59 children. Our close-knit team values collaboration and support, creating a nurturing environment for both staff and children.
Reporting to the Service Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the OSHC experience for the young people at our Star of the Sea Outside School Hours Care in Torquay.
You will help create a fun, engaging, and interactive program for school-aged children. You’ll have the opportunity to share your unique ideas to continuously improve our activities, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all children attending.
This opportunity is ideal for someone with a Diploma, as we aim to train you to become our responsible person in charge.
For the right candidate, there is potential to work at our additional Catholic Early EdCare centres throughout the Fraser Coast region.
Hourly rate: Level 1.1 $24.13 to 3.4 $30.07, based on qualifications and experience.
Job Requirements:
- Be eligible to work in Australia.
- Minimum Diploma or studying towards a qualification in an area relevant to working with young people (highly desirable).
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
- First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate.
