Bethania Lutheran OSHC is a well-established community based Christian early childhood service with a long-standing reputation for excellent quality early education and care.
We are looking for:
Educators to fulfil Permanent Part time role for minimum 15 hours a week. Spilt shifts during school term time and straight shifts will be available during school holidays. Hours will be rostered from Mon to Fri to meet the needs of the service. We are flexible on the hours term by term to meet the needs of students that are studying.
Responsibilities:
- Actively supervising and engaging children in a variety of activities, both indoors and outdoors.
- Providing all children with a safe, secure and welcoming environment.
- Building meaningful relationships with children, families and the school community.
- Working collaboratively within a team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
- Undertaking general cleaning tasks.
- Supporting the Christian ethos of the Service
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services or be studying towards Qualification that meet ACECQA
- Current Working With Children Check (Blue Card).
- Current First Aid and CPR.
- Previous childcare experience preferred but not needed, full training will be provided
- Knowledge of the National Quality Standards and the National Framework or will to learn.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to engage with staff, children and families positively and proactively.
- A professional and enthusiastic attitude.
