Who are you?

Our international team in Brussels is seeking an intern to assist our team of legal consultants in covering regulatory developments in Nordic countries (particularly in Sweden and Finland).

The main responsibilities of the successful candidate include:

  • Researching EHS law, regulations, and policy in Nordic countries (Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Norway) depending on the candidate’s language skills;
  • Monitoring existing and drafting EHS law to alert the industry on future requirements; and
  • Preparing written reports allowing the industry to measure regulatory compliance.

Depending on language skills and experience, the successful candidate will also be required to research EHS requirements in other countries.

What to bring to the table?

  • Law degree obtained in a Nordic country, specialisation in environmental law is an asset;
  • Strong analytical research and writing skills with a demonstrated ability to research and analyse law and policy;
  • Fluency in Swedish or Finnish (Danish and Norwegian will also be considered), as well as English, is essential. Additional language skills are an asset; and
  • Interest in and understanding of EHS law and industrial processes.
