Bennett Staff at looking to recruit for an Electrical Assembly Technician to start ASAP on a full-time basis, our client is based in Cheshire.Key Tasks and Accountabilities:

• Wire panel back-plates, doors etc. from circuit diagrams and panel layouts provided.
• Ensure electrical build quality is of the highest possible standard.
• Electro/mechanical installation of control cubicle components and field components.
• Terminate and secure external cabling to the correct points in the control panel.
• Install PLC & HMI programs.
• Conduct earth continuity, insulation, and pre-delivery testing.
• Where necessary, perform remote support and on-site support to breakdown situations.
• Where necessary, perform on-site machine commissioning.
• Where necessary, conduct operator and technical training at clients’ sites or at site.
• Perform on-call and service duties as per service rota.
• Must seek to keep the workshop clean and tidy at the end of each working day.
• The jobholder should be aware that on occasion, working outside of normal hours will be required, both within the UK and overseas.

What we would like to see from you…

• Time served electrician, with experience of industrial control system wiring and fault finding.
• 18th Edition certified.
• Experience of working with PLCs, servo drive systems and AC inverters.
• Experience within the food industry an advantage.
• Must possess a current driver’s license.

What else you need to know:

• 8.00am to 4.30pm – Monday to Friday, with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break each day and two paid 15 minutes per day. A total of 40 hours per week
• £12.32 – £17.26 per hour
