Are you an experienced Electrical Fitter looking for a new opportunity?JMC Aviation is working with a leading MRO Organisation based in Stansted, looking to recruit an Electrical Fitter to join their expanding team.This is a Permanent Position based in Stansted with an immediate start date.The Electrical Fitter will be responsible for working within the Power Generation Production Team to dismantle small electro/mechanical components (generators) down to their individual components, overhaul/repair and assemble generators ready for final testing following written instruction manuals.The responsibilities of the Electrical Fitter will involve:– Stripping, cleaning, inspecting and building of small electro/mechanical components (AC/DC generators/starter generators)– Raising and completing inspection reports– Updating details onto computer system– Working with the team to meet production deadlines– Maintaining quality standards in accordance with regulatory and company procedures– Working with the team leader to meet customer service levels– Meeting health, safety and environmental regulationsIn order to be successful in this role, the Electrical Fitter will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:– Prior experience in an engineering/workshop environment is essential– Experience of power generation, electrical theory is highly desirable– ONC/HNC in Engineering desirable– Prior experience of aerospace and/or aviation industry desirable– Numerate and literate – minimum GCSE or equivalent essential– Right to live and work in the UKIf you think this is the role for you and you have the necessary skills and attributes, please apply today or contact JMC Aviation for more details.Please note that due to the high level of applicants we will only be contacting shortlisted candidates regarding this role.For this opportunity JMC Aviation Ltd is acting as an employment agency.
