Job descriptionMy client who is a Tier 1 main contractor is recruiting for an Electrical Project Engineer to work on their framework with Southern Water Based in Chatham.Job Description:You will be expected to convert design deliverables, drive procurement, tender bid analysis and manage chain supply.Key responsibilities include:– Ensuring your work is undertaken safely in accordance with Company Procedures, specifications, and good working practices– Ensuring the smooth and efficient co-ordination of all electrical design activities on allocated Nitrate reduction schemes– Reporting of electrical design activities and progress to the relevant C&DL, MEICA & Commissioning Manager and Area MEICA Managers– Provide subcontract management support during the scheme close out phase– Technical input, review and selection of sub contract tenders, supplier specification and scope of worksCoordinate, review and monitor design deliverables such as Schedules, Specifications & Drawings and procurement deliverables– Assist in the review of design deliverables, including FDS, equipment and instrument lists, P&IDs, control philosophy and telemetry requirementsRequirements– Skills, knowledge, and experience of CDM and Design– Previous Project Management experience– Strong Technical understanding of Water and Waste water treatment– Flexibility and adaptability to be able to respond rapidly to unexpected events, having the ability to develop creative solutions to problems– Significant electrical experience– HNC/HND or degree in a relevant engineering discipline– SMSTS qualification

Expected salary

£45000 – 55000 per year
