• Design harness layouts for satellite systems based on predefined electrical architectures, ensuring compliance with mission requirements and relevant quality standards
• Coordination of the harness design with other disciplines, including 3D routing, integration, thermal analysis, structural engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance
• Plan and perform in-depth electrical analyses, including voltage drop, worst-case scenarios, and derating exercises to validate design performance
• Prepare harness manufacturing documentation and integration procedures
• Support proposal and tender phases by defining harness activities, drafting technical specifications, and providing accurate effort estimates

Your Qualifications

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
• Several years of professional experience in harness design for space applications
• Strong knowledge of space-specific processes and quality standards (e.g., ECSS, MIL)
• Proficiency in harness design tools, ideally Siemens CAPITAL Harness
• Experienced in MS Project for resource planning and progress tracking
• Excellent communication & teamwork skills, with a structured, resilient work style
• Fluency in English required; German language skills are a plus
