- Circuit design and PCB layout in Altium
- Writing of embedded code in C and C++
- Testing and commissioning of prototypes
- Verification testing and reporting
- Presenting to clients and co-operating with mechanical engineers and designers
Requirements
- An excellent degree in electrical, electronic or information engineering
- Experience in embedded device design
- Analogue electronics knowledge
- Understanding of Power Supply Design
- Experience in circuit simulation tools such as LTspice, Pspice
- Familiar with embedded C/C++
- Experience with microcontrollers (e.g. PIC, STM32 etc.)
- Experience in communication protocols such as RS232/RS485/USB/SPI/I2C
- Design for EMC
- Self-motivated and able to tackle new problems
- Good oral and written English communication skills
- Experience in medical devices would be an advantage although not essential
