Newton Colmore is working with a medical devices innovator in Cambridge, and we are looking to find a senior embedded software engineer to join their team.You will be utilising your embedded software skills to develop novel solutions for highly complex devices and instruments. This will include complete software development for the brand-new product still in development as well as for the testing equipment and the creation of the software quality management system.Your focus will be on rapid development of software to meet critical and ambitious milestones for this company, and you will be working alongside fellow engineers and scientists in a multidisciplinary team on a product that is at the intersection of science and engineering.As well as leading the development of the systems you will also have the opportunity to shape future research and development programmes and held build a new product from the ground up.We are looking for people who have commercial experience of developing software for embedded systems, with knowledge of Python and microprocessors.
