ROLE PURPOSE
The Emergency Programme Manager will be the country lead who is responsible to manage the design, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of Plan International Egypt Response. S/he will;
(1) lead on the response management, ensuring that projects, activities, objectives and financials are met in accordance with Plan commitments and donor requirements
(2) support assessments that will be conducted at the beginning of and throughout the intervention, in addition to the contextualization of tools and materials that respond to identified gaps.
(3) ensure appropriate coordination and communication with partners and key stakeholders.
DIMENSIONS OF THE ROLE
Under the guidance and direct supervision of the Country Director, the Emergency Response Programme Manager will lead the Emergency response and ensure quality management of Plan International’s earthquake, working closely with M&E, Finance, Operations, Partnerships, HR and technical specialists, IM and other programmes colleagues.
