| Physical Requirements | This position requires regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time and performing tasks with repetitive motions (such as typing); lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to or over 50 pounds; standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds; working at heights above four feet; and exposure to risk of injury from moving, lifting, or positioning patients, equipment, or materials; loud noises; temperature extremes; and blood-borne/airborne pathogens; intermittently requires working in confined spaces; and occasionally requires job-related travel (less than 10% of time), exposure to hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste, radiation, burns, cuts/punctures, recombinant DNA or viral vectors, and combative/violent people. |

| Job Summary | This position will function as the single source coordinator for all ambulance transport arrangements for patients traveling to and from the UK HealthCare Enterprise and associated clinics. The position will require constant communication between management staff, discharge planners, and social workers. Data collection and input will be vitally important as weekly, monthly, and annual reports will be compiled for distribution to management and hospital administration staff. Will adhere to the standards for EMS run reports established by the Kentucky Board of EMS and ensure that those reports are correctly entered into the state reporting system. Will provide general support to UK EMS management staff and perform other duties as assigned or needed by the department. |
