Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Emerging Technologies Customer Strategy & Analytics Lead to be based in Orange, CA.
About the Role: As the Emerging Technologies Customer Strategy & Analytics Lead, you will be at the helm of integrating customer strategy with data analytics within our Emerging Technology/Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) division. This pivotal role drives business development and growth in the transportation services sector, with an emphasis on tolling services. Your unique combination of customer-centric strategic planning and analytical prowess will be key to navigating and leading the division’s emerging technology market expansion.
Key Responsibilities:

Customer-Focused Strategic Integration: Lead the amalgamation of customer strategy with data analytics to advance the emerging technology/ITS sector, focusing on tolling and Road User Charging services.

Analytics-Driven Business Development: Leverage data-driven insights to forge robust business development strategies in the transportation & tolling sector.

Tolling Incentive Program Leadership: Direct the design and marketing of customer-centric tolling incentive programs, ensuring alignment with market needs and client objectives.

Insightful Market Research: Perform in-depth market research to pinpoint emerging trends and untapped opportunities in the tolling industry.

Strategic Planning Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to formulate and implement integrated customer and market strategies.

Impact Measurement and Analytics: Establish and track key performance metrics to evaluate the impact of customer strategies on market growth.

Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and sustain strategic relationships with clients and stakeholders, advocating for customer-centric solutions within the emerging technologies/ITS and tolling arenas.

Team Leadership and Analytics Mentoring: Guide and develop a team specializing in marketing analytics and strategic data analysis.

Strategic Communication: Articulate complex analytical findings and customer strategies to stakeholders effectively.

Innovation in Customer Analytics: Pioneer innovative approaches to marketing and data analysis that cater specifically to emerging technologies and tolling services.

Marketing Content Creation: Lead the development of compelling marketing narratives and support materials, such as case studies, proposals, and white papers, to bolster business development in the emerging technology/ITS and tolling sector.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- BA/BS + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications:

BA/BS degree and 10+ years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience

Four years of experience in the tolling industry with an in-depth understanding of market dynamics

Ability to travel for specific project work or marketing assignments (as needed)

Expertise in data analytics tools and comprehensive market research methodologies

Demonstrated leadership with a history of managing successful cross-functional initiatives

Excellent communication skills coupled with strong relationship-building capabilities

A track record in proposal writing and conducting business development activities

Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment with minimal oversight

Clarity in communicating complex issues to a diverse audience, including clients, executives, and technical staff

Outstanding written, verbal, and organizational skills

A robust analytical thinker with problem-solving acumen

The capacity to juggle multiple project responsibilities, financial constraints, and tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of professionalism and quality

Experience in developing products and solutions for Fortune 500 companies
Additional Information

Offered rate of compensation (California locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $123,000 – 225,000/yr.
