We are now seeking to recruit a Employability Content and Delivery Manager who is passionate about supporting students’ career development, and managing a range of curricular and co-curricular activities, events and services and managing resources effectively to ensure maximum impact for our students. Based in the Employability team, this role will be responsible for managing the coaching team to provide high-quality employability services that enable our students to attain graduate-level jobs.
Working at the interface between academic faculties and departments this role will ensure that curriculum-embedded employability interventions are delivered for all of our students on-campus and online. This role will lead on generating engaging employability content to be used across relevant digital and static platforms. As a senior member of the department, this post will play a pivotal role in shaping services and interventions that support the University 2030 strategy.
About You
The successful candidate for this role will need to be a pro-active leader who is conscientious and hard-working who actively plays their part in continuing to make Falmouth University a great place to work. It’s a fast-paced environment, we are looking for people who have the energy and agility needed to ensure we traverse an ever-changing HE landscape, as we execute our ambitious plans. Alongside these core qualities, the candidate will have a demonstrable recent and relevant experience of coaching of varying complexity and criticality (preferred in HE employability sector), experience of managing a team, knowledge of digital content production and management, be independent and extremely organised, and ready to take on a diverse set of responsibilities that support the wider Employability team.

We are looking to hear from candidates who have the following skills/experience:
  • The ability to prioritise multiple strands of work in a busy environment and to work with a high level of autonomy, as well as working collaboratively with others.
  • Strong communication, relationship building and organisational skills
  • Experience in developing curricular or co-curricular sessions, coaching sessions, or workshops
  • Experience in digital content creation .
  • Prior knowledge on accessibility provisions to support Widening Participation and graduates who are unemployed or in under-employment.
