Position Summary | The Employee Training & Development Specialist is responsible for creating, administering, and delivering employee training and development solutions to build and maintain an engaged, high-performing, and inclusive workplace. Reporting to the Division Director of Employee Relations, Organizational Development and Diversity, the Employee Training & Development Specialist will serve as a change agent to provide strategies, training, tools, and resources on employee development and diversity management. |

Thorough knowledge of guiding principles to promote and manage diversity, preferably, in an academic community. Excellent, verbal, writing and presentation skills. Effective communication skills. Effective facilitation skills. Demonstrated knowledge of performance management processes. Skill at negotiating and building consensus to support decisions and programs. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with persons from diverse backgrounds. |
