Job title: Enabling Services – Senior Integration EngineerLocation: Warton – OnsiteSalary: £47,683 – £52,426 (Commensurate with skills on experience)What you’ll be doing:Reporting to the Enabling Services, Design and Manufacture Group Leader, your main responsibility will be to ensure the Enabling Services organisation has the required capacity internally and through offload solutions to meet it’s programme deliverables.In order to do this, you will:

  • Be the focal point for all tasks coming into the department
  • Developing Estimate Returns on behalf of the team, working closely with the Ground T&E Project Control Office
  • Maintain a timely and accurate view on departmental workload vs capacity
  • Support the Design and Manufacture team by managing the offload of work packages, both internally and externally to suppliers / partners, to satisfy an ever-changing workload
  • Develop relationships with other GT&E teams to establish a forward capability requirement to feed broader strategic development activities
  • Work with established and new internal and external customers to manage existing known work and to maintain a topical forward looking view of firm, probable and aspirational tasks

Dependent on candidate aspirations, there is scope to flex the scope of this role to fit their skillset / development needsYour skills and experiences:Essential:

  • HND /HNC or equivalent evidenced experience in a related engineering discipline
  • Experience of using JIRA or willing to learn.
  • Technically focused Engineer with a good background in planning
  • Understanding of the Engineering lifecycle
  • Good communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong departmental and external relationships

Working with cutting edge technology and on multiple projects, they will deliver the future capabilities of next generation combat aircraft, ensuring design targets are met and Wind Tunnel programmes are achieved.Reporting to the Enabling Services, Design and Manufacture Group Leader, this role will provide effective management and control of existing known work, budgets, and future planning, including maintaining a topical forward-looking view of firm, probable and aspirational tasks.The successful candidate will be proactive with a can-do attitude and have excellent communication skills to build and maintain good working relationships with established and new internal and external customers.
