Summary of Requirements

The OSCE Presence in Albania (OSCE), has a requirement to engage an Implementing Partner (IP) to conduct an assessment related to the standards of reporting on security with particular focus on SALW and gender-based violence (caused by firearms) affairs, as well as conduct a qualitative and quantitative focus group survey with the media outlets to assess the capacity building needs of the journalists. Based on the findings and recommendations, the IP will develop a handbook in English language regarding media coverage and reporting standards on security, with focus on SALW and gender-based violence related to firearms, as well as will train the relevant media reporters in Albania.
