Our colleagues represent and promote our flagship Scottish Widows workplace savings propositions across the financial services industry; engaging with consultants, advisers, employers, trustees, and end-customers, to build strong, lasting relationships to achieve business results. Communications professional who is able to bring together communication and channel knowledge, insight and thought leadership to build tailored engagement narrative that showcases our capability, builds deep trust and dedication with all key demographics of clients and advisers.What you’ll be doing:

  • Build strong and compelling narrative that ensures Scottish Widows is seen as a leader with vision in the market and remains front of mind and a provider of choice for new business and a strong partner for existing.
  • Analysis and interrogation of schemes to create a compelling employee engagement approach and brief that enables us to stand out in the market.
  • Ability to utilise our research and insight to create timely content that brings our proposition to life for advisers. Supporting them to look knowledgeable to clients and enabling them to share our vision and provide an excellent service.
  • Nurture the customer across all activities. Ensure deep understanding of our customer base through regular focus groups and customer testing.
  • Build and then maintain a strong understanding of our market position, competitor offerings and engagement trends to drive our employee engagement strategy.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the competition and their engagement strengths and weaknesses.
  • Keep up to date with industry news, the strategic direction of the industry and regulatory changes.
  • Focus on team activity to realise new business goals, adding insight, expertise, and support.

  • Communications professional with a good understanding of all communication channels and platforms.
  • Confident and proficient leading sessions with external parties, such as EBCs, trustees and large clients.
  • Strong influencing skills with the ability to confidently lead across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to research competitors and wider sectors and use insight to develop compelling outputs.
  • Positive relationship leadership skills and personal credibility at senior stakeholder level
  • An engaging, credible, and inspiring presenter with strong communication skills
  • Validated influencing and negotiation skills
  • Always open to new insights and ways of working
  • Flexible and able to optimally lead others through change.
