Engagement & Culture Lead, Northern NSW – Newcastle

We are excited to share an exciting opportunity for our new Engagement & Culture Lead Northern NSW!

This role will be responsible for:

• Driving the culture of an inspiring local team, fostering a positive and collaborative culture that aligns with our values and purpose.
• Developing and implementing fundraising strategies to secure new and existing revenue streams from corporate partnerships, corporate engagement, philanthropic opportunities/high net worth individuals and community events.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with funders, supporters and stakeholders, ensuring they are engaged and informed of our work and impact.
• Representing OzHarvest in media and branding opportunities, promoting our mission and vision to the wider community.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Local connections and vision of community
• A proven track record of helping build positive teams to achieve shared goals
• Extensive years of experience in fundraising, business development or sales, with a track record of achieving targets and delivering results.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade diverse audiences.
• A high level of initiative, creativity and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
