Description:
Looking for individuals who are fervent about teaching English to both children and adults in refugee communities. As a Language Teacher, your main role will involve conducting language courses for students at various proficiency levels, and possibly designing such material as well. Additionally, you may be responsible for coordinating educational activities, such as IT lessons and employability seminars, if there is an interest.
For this position, it is necessary to have a minimum availability of 8 weeks.
Requirements:
- Teaching certificate such as TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or a comparable certification.
- Excellent verbal and writing communication abilities, good interpersonal skills, a high degree of emotional intelligence, and cultural sensitivity.
- Exceptional organization skills.
- Dedication to delivering superior teaching and learning experiences.
- Ability to develop robust, constructive connections with students while upholding a professional boundaries.
- Proficiency in meeting deadlines and effectively managing the workload.
- Adaptable mindset and a readiness to adjust to evolving circumstances.
- Proficiency in Arabic, Farsi, French, Greek, Kurdish, Somali, and/or Urdu is highly desirable.
- Valid driving license and ability to drive is highly desirable.
