End Date Sunday 11 August 2024Salary Range £86,964 – £102,310Flexible Working Options Unable to Offer Agile OptionsJob Description Summary We’re looking for a colleague with an engineering/architecture backgroundJob DescriptionJOB TITLE:Enterprise Architect/Assistant to Chief Technology OfficerSALARY: £86,984 – £102,310LOCATION(S): LondonHOURS: Full timeWORKING PATTERN: At least two days per week (or 40% of your time) at one of our offices listed above.What will I be doing?As the Executive Assistant, you’ll lead the Chief Technology Officer’s Office Team, working closely with the Personal Assistant and colleagues across the CTO teams, the wider Group COO community and with external stakeholders. As the CTO team provide pan-Group services, you’ll be confident engaging at all levels across the Group. The role is multifaceted, and you’ll need to be able to balance challenging demands in a pressurised environment, so the ability to prioritise is a necessity. You’ll collaborate on shared initiatives and act as the CTO’s deputy as required, alongside planning and coordinating the CTO’s colleague engagement schedule. You must have an engineering/architecture background to be successful in this role.What skills would we need to see?We like people who come from a diverse set of backgrounds, bringing new ways of thinking to our team. The role is specific to our industry though, so to be successful in the role you’ll need to show the following:We’re looking for a colleague with an engineering/architecture background and/or a solid understanding of technology in the financial sector, who is comfortable working in a challenging environment. You’ll have a great eye for detail and outstanding written and verbal communication skills. You should be confident in developing relationships at all levels, influencing internal and external partners, and contributing to the broader planning and business decision making within GCOO.We’d need you to have a strong awareness of financial governance structure so you can lead the division in ensuring compliance with Group policy and procedure.You’ll have superb communication skills – especially visually and through “telling the story”, using the data to communicate complex messages in an accessible and compelling way. You’ll also be able to distil sophisticated information and present it in a succinct and clear format through both written and oral presentation.We believe that collaboration is crucial, and you’ll feel the same.
