We are driven by our core values: respect, innovation, and collaboration. About the Role:The Enterprise Security Analyst is an integral part of Latham’s Global Security & Risk Management team. This role will be responsible for assessing technology security risk, researching and implementing security solutions, and operating security tools to aid the security efforts of the firm, while working directly with user departments and technical teams to determine mitigating controls, procedures, and protections for systems that contain proprietary, personal, or privileged electronic data. This role will be located in our Manchester office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.Responsibilities & Qualifications:Other key responsibilities include:
- Working directly with application and platform owners on remediation activities to ensure that committed timelines are met
- Performing security risk assessment in support of the remediation activities
- Managing performance metrics for the Global Technology and Information Services team and also providing support to the overall remediation programme and process
- Researching and keeping abreast of security and industry developments
- Working with consultants and service providers on security assessments and initiatives
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Have experience working as a security analyst, conducting incident response and investigations
- Possess the ability to effectively assess situations and act accordingly to achieve a specific goal
- Display strong analytical skills needed to troubleshoot a variety of symptoms, diagnose problems, and test, recommend, and implement solutions to technology problems
- Demonstrate creativity to use existing tools, find new tools, and draw upon available resources to solve problems
And have:
- A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent; relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
- Experience in information technology, including information security
