Under the overall of the Programme Coordinator (DTM), the administrative supervision of the Head of Sub Office (HoSO) and the direct supervision of the National Operations Officer , the incumbent will perform the following duties:
Core Functions / Responsibilities
Conduct interviews using appropriate tools such as (paper tools or KOBO/ODK or similar platform)
Ensure completeness and consistency of collected information.
Conduct any other data collection exercise in the field using different techniques including household surveys, focus group discussions, key informant interviews as requested by the MEAL Assistant
Review data collected after fieldwork before submitting to the RART PA.
Undertake regular field monitoring visit as requested by the RART PA.
Identify and provide an account of challenges faced in obtaining data during surveys and any other challenges encountered for onward development of tools and methodology.
Education:
University degree in Sociology, or any other related field from an accredited academic university or institute.
Experience and Skills:
At least 1 year of experience in the humanitarian sector including data collection, reporting and research.
Familiarity with the Iraqi humanitarian context.
Familiarity with INGOs, or UN agencies
Languages:
Fluency in Arabic is required.
Working knowledge of any other language is an advantage.
