About the Project:

Employment Promotion through building vocational skills in construction sector in Kirkuk city, Kirkuk Governorate project aims to provide resilient employment opportunities for 200 vulnerable Iraqis including youth and women through building their vocational skills, specifically in fields related to construction/housing, with a focus on sustainable urban development, these are achieved through the following outputs:

You are invited to submit a bid to provide individual “Independent contract- Enumerator” service.

The service pricing offers must be submitted no later than (deadline of 15:00 PM on 23^th January 2024) to (procurement@mercyhands.org) mentioning the reference number in the subject bar.

 

Service price offer received after the deadline will not be accepted.

Service provider shall provide a written service price offer (attached), fully compliant with the instructions given. Failure to comply with requirements may result in the rejection of the proposal. Every proposal will be evaluated in accordance with the terms & conditions provided below by mercy hands for humanitarian aid.

Role and responsibility

1. Conduct impact assessment, registrations and data entry in the assigned inside Kirkuk governorate.
2. Interview the identified participants of the project within the project area to ensure the data and info that have been recorded.
3. Document all the findings in the provided data collection tools.
4. Ensure collected data is accurately recorded.
5. Capture data using the digital data entry technology provided.
6. Ensure the anonymity of respondents and develop a relationship of trust and safe space during the data collection exercise with respondents.
7. Identify and report any challenges faced that could affect the quality of the data.
8. Take responsibility for project equipment that you may be entrusted with.
9. Any other duties assigned by the Project Manager.
10. Present the data to the supervisor at the end of each day.
11. Report to the supervisor before and after day’s work for further direction.

DELIVERABLES

Conduct Impact assessment for 200 vulnerable Iraqis including youth and women.

1. General Conditions:

• Currency – Tenders must be presented in IQD.
• Period of Validity – Prices quoted in the tender must be valid for a period of at least 30 days from the deadline.
• The compliant tender that offers the best price-quality of services ratio will be chosen. MH does not bind itself to award the lowest offer.

 

• Payment Terms
• The service provider will submit monthly invoices upon tasks completion.
• Payment will be by bank transfer.
• The service provider will submit invoices after the provision and acceptance of all the services as per the Role and responsibility.
• The service provider will receive the payment after a maximum of 15 working days from providing the invoice.

 

1. Selection Criteria

For all service providers to pass the administration and technical check.

30% price, 50% interview, 20% Technical evaluation & experience

The announcement is available from 16 /01/2024- The Deadline: -23 /01/2024 

-On the 24^th of January evaluate the bids. 

-On the 25^th of January interviews.

-On the 28th   of January a word the owning service providers and sign the contracts.

2. Ability to work independently and confidence to undergo household visits.
3. Good facilitation skills.
4. Good communication skills and experience in participatory methodology.
5. Innovative, motivated and able to work under supervision.
