Primary data collection through field visits and phone interviews with beneficiaries, business owners and communities through HH survey, focus group discussions (FGDs), key informants’ interview (KII). FGDs and KIIs with various stakeholders
Attend trainings on methodology, approach, data collection tools, and measures
Participate in FGD and KII briefing and debriefings as per instructions
Data entry of the collected data on a daily basis using tablets, mobiles or laptops.
Maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to HRFs’ ethical guidelines when interacting with respondents and handling sensitive information.
Meeting established deadlines for data collection, entry, and reporting, ensuring that the assessment process stays on schedule.
Identifying and addressing any issues that may arise during data collection, such as language barriers, cultural sensitivities, or technical challenges.
Any other task relevant to the position as requested by M&E Officer and/or M&E Manager.
Previous experience working with NGOs
Experience as a research assistance/Enumerator and data collection
Awareness of NGO regulations, policies, and principles
Experience with the KOBO application on smartphones.
Available on-call for the duration of the contract
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work with individuals from a range of diverse backgrounds
Able to work under pressure both independently and in a team
Required to have a positive attitude and to respect for beneficiaries and colleagues
