Environmental and Sustainability Advisor

The Diocese of Norwich is looking for an Environmental and Sustainability
Advisor.

• 35 hrs per week (ft)
• £31,491 to £38,389 pa (subject to skills and experience)
• Initially a two-year contract with scope to extend, funding permitting.

The Environmental and Sustainability Advisor will:

• have lead responsibility for coordinating work to implement the Diocesan Net Zero Carbon Action
  Plan.
• devise and facilitate implementation of a management plan to ensure year-on-year reductions in
  greenhouse gas emissions.
• undertake effective data analysis and reporting to support decision making.
• support the continuing development of accurate emissions data.
• support the work of the Property Team in relation to clergy housing, by providing energy audits
  and reviewing options for measures to reduce carbon footprint.
• offer advice on projects designed to support parishes and schools in relation to net zero
  carbon, such as energy audits, including support on options, permissions, and funding.
• provide environmental guidance and technical support to the NDBF and PCCs.
• maintain awareness of resources and funding opportunities available.
