Overview: Catamount Institute is a nonprofit dedicated to connecting kids to the outdoors through engaging outdoor environmental educational programs. For the past 28 years, we’ve served tens of thousands of children in the Pikes Peak Region—engaging 5,824 youth in 2024 alone—and aim to reach 6,000 in 2025. We’re seeking a full-time Environmental Education Coordinator who is passionate about outdoor education programming, committed to excellence, detail-oriented, and adaptable. Ideal candidates will have experience in program coordination, the education field, and working as part of a high-performing team. Summary: Reporting to the Director of Environmental Education, the Environmental Education Program Coordinator will handle the coordination of all aspects of Catamount Institute’s educational programs. This role involves overseeing program scheduling, registration, staff and volunteer scheduling, social media, marketing, and communication with key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be passionate about outdoor education and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently while providing excellent customer service to program participants, parents, teachers, and community partners.
