Reporting to the Environmental Education Supervisor, this Environmental Educator position is a full-time, non-exempt position working primarily Wednesday-Saturday from 8-6 for the school year and Tuesday-Saturday from 9-5 for our approximately 8-week summer camp season. Some early/evening hours and weekend days per month (outside of regularly scheduled special events) will be required. This position will be responsible for teaching a variety of natural history and farm-themed school and after school programs for groups, primarily aged preK-5th grade. This position will also help staff our educational birthday parties, off-site library programs, and other programs on Saturdays and will help with care of our exotic animals. Anticipated start date is mid-September but there is some flexibility for the right candidate.
