Abt Associates seeks a Senior Analyst in our Technical Assistance and Implementation team to support an EPA funded Community Change Environmental Justice (EJ) grants program. The program will provide $2B in grants to community-based organizations around the country to fund community-driven projects that address climate challenges and reduce pollution while strengthening communities. Abt is part of a team of contractors providing the support for this program.
Core Responsibilities
The EJ Policy Senior Analyst will support a team that will develop training and technical assistance materials for potential grantees, other subcontractors and EPA.
Key responsibilities may include:
Support a team that will work with EPA and other members of the contracting team to produce and deliver training materials, tools, guidance, and other technical assistance products.
Working with the technical assistance and evaluation teams to produce trainings and evaluation products as needed.
Coordinating with the Abt Project Manager, other team partners and prime contractor on matters related to contracts, deliverables, schedule, and staffing.
What We Value
Masters + 3 years of relevant experience, or PhD + 0 years of relevant experience
6 years of experience working with EPA and/or on environmental justice policy
Experience with environmental justice and programs that include direct work in communities and with community-based organizations.
Ability to lead and coordinate the work of junior and mid-career staff with more senior experts.
Experience developing reports, briefings, and decks and presenting in a professional and influential manner.
Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and to meet deadlines
