tendersglobal.net

WHO WE ARE

Kilmalieu is one of three centres run by the Abernethy Trust. Previously an outdoor activity centre, it is now being re-purposed as a Christian retreat centre. It is a place of prayer and hospitality, nature restoration and adventure. The Environmental Lead will play a crucial role in planning and managing nature conservation and restoration activities. He or she will also help guests to engage with the natural environment and, along with other team members, assist with hospitality-related tasks when necessary.

The centre sits at the heart of a 3000 acre estate. It is a remote place, more than 10 miles from the nearest shop and almost 20 miles from Fort William. At the heart of our small team is a rhythm of prayer. We are passionate about hospitality, enabling our guests to go deeper in their journey of faith and experience the riches of an area of rugged beauty and rich biodiversity.

We are motivated by our belief in a good and generous God who created an incredible natural world which, through its very existence, shouts His praise. We believe that every person is unique, valuable and deeply loved by our loving Creator.
