This Environmental Protection Specialist III position will act as a liaison to CDOT’s Division of Transit and Rail, the Federal Railroad Administration, the Federal Transit Administration, and the Federal Highway Administration, as well as to CDOT’s five operational regions to provide technical environmental and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) expertise for CDOT’s projects, with an initial focus on passenger rail corridor projects.
Minimum qualifications are a combination of relevant education and experience equal to at least 8 years. Specifics can be found at the link provided. The preferred candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of NEPA and experience working with the FRA, FTA, and FHWA.
