Shareteah Humanitarian Organization (SHO) is an Iraqi National NGO promoting safety & development through mine action and explosive ordnance risk education (EORE)awareness, and clearance of mines, explosives and remnants of war.to assistance for people affected by armed conflict. Founded in 2016, SHO has organized & executed programs throughout Iraq. including the provinces of Nineveh, Duhok, Kirkuk, Tikrit, Anbar, and Baghdad. It currently holds offices in Duhok and Mosul.

Under the direct supervision of the EORE/NTS Team Leader, the EORE/NTS Officer is responsible for conducting awareness sessions on landmines, explosive remnants of war (ERW), and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) to mitigate risks in affected areas. The officer plays a crucial role in educating individuals and communities about the dangers associated with explosive ordnance. In addition to these duties, the EORE/NTS Officer actively participates in all Non-Technical Survey (NTS) activities in close collaboration with the Team Leader. The primary objectives of this role include enhancing public awareness, promoting safety, and reducing the risk of incidents in regions impacted by landmines. The EORE/NTS Officer also undertakes any additional tasks assigned by the line manager.

تحت الإشراف المباشر لقائد فريق التوعية بمخاطر الألغام (EORE) والمسح غير الفني (NTS)، يتولى موظف التوعية بمخاطر الألغام (EORE/NTS) مسؤولية تنفيذ جلسات توعية حول الألغام ومخلفات الحرب غير المنفجرة (ERW) والعبوات الناسفة (IEDs) بهدف تقليل المخاطر في المناطق المتأثرة. يأخذ الموظف دوراً حيوياً في تثقيف الأفراد والمجتمعات حول الأخطار المرتبطة بالذخائر غير المنفجرة. بالإضافة إلى هذه المهام، يشارك الموظف بفعالية في جميع أنشطة المسح غير الفني (NTS) بالتنسيق الوثيق مع قائد الفريق. تشمل الأهداف الرئيسية لهذا الدور تعزيز الوعي العام، وتعزيز السلامة، وتقليل مخاطر الحوادث في المناطق المتضررة من الألغام. كما يقوم الضابط بتنفيذ أي مهام إضافية يكلفه بها المدير المباشر.

Responsibilities: 

• Deliver Awareness Sessions: Conduct a specified number of awareness-raising sessions per month to meet project targets, ensuring community engagement aligns with project requirements.
• تنفيذ جلسات التوعية: القيام بعدد محدد من جلسات التوعية شهريًا لتحقيق أهداف المشروع، وضمان تفاعل المجتمع بما يتماشى مع متطلبات المشروع.
• Data Collection: Accurately collect and document beneficiary information from targeted communities, meeting the project’s data collection standards and deadlines.
• جمع البيانات: جمع وتوثيق معلومات المستفيدين من المجتمعات المستهدفة بدقة، مع الالتزام بمعايير جمع البيانات والمواعيد النهائية للمشروع.
• NTS Activities: Conduct a designated number of Non-Technical Survey (NTS) activities per month, ensuring they meet established effectiveness and quality standards.
• أنشطة المسح غير الفني (NTS): إجراء عدد محدد من أنشطة المسح غير الفني (NTS) شهريًا، والتأكد من أنها تلبي معايير الفعالية والجودة المحددة.
• Mapping and Reporting: Contribute in Producing detailed maps and reports that outline suspected hazardous areas (SHA) and confirmed hazardous areas (CHA). These reports are crucial for planning further technical surveys or clearance operations.
• إعداد الخرائط والتقارير: المساهمة في إنتاج خرائط وتقارير مفصلة توضح المناطق المشبوهة بالخطر (SHA) والمناطق المؤكدة بالخطر (CHA). تعتبر هذه التقارير ضرورية لتخطيط المزيد من المسوحات الفنية أو عمليات إزالة الألغام.
• Session Evaluation: Conduct pre- and post-session evaluations for each awareness session, gathering and analyzing feedback to continuously improve session effectiveness.
• تقييم الجلسات: إجراء تقييمات قبل وبعد كل جلسة توعية، وجمع وتحليل التعليقات بشكل مستمر لتحسين فعالية الجلسات.
• Documentation: Complete all KOBO forms for every session on the same day, ensuring thorough and timely documentation.
• توثيق الجلسات: إكمال جميع استمارات KOBO لكل جلسة في نفس اليوم، لضمان التوثيق الشامل وفي الوقت المناسب.
• Session Photography: Capture and archive photographs of every awareness session, ensuring visual documentation is stored as per project guidelines.
• تصوير الجلسات: التقاط وأرشفة صور لكل جلسة توعية، والتأكد من حفظ التوثيق البصري وفقًا لإرشادات المشروع.
• Report Preparation: Assist the Team Leader in preparing daily reports with a focus on accuracy and promoting team collaboration.
• إعداد التقارير: مساعدة قائد الفريق في إعداد التقارير اليومية مع التركيز على الدقة وتعزيز التعاون بين أعضاء الفريق.
• PSEA Policy Compliance: Consistently adhere to SHO’s PSEA policy, ensuring actions maintain community trust and safety, while upholding the organization’s ethical standards.
• الامتثال لسياسة PSEA: الالتزام الدائم بسياسة PSEA الخاصة بـمنظمة شاريتيه الانسانية، وضمان أن تصرفات الفريق تحافظ على ثقة وأمان المجتمعات المستهدفة، مع الحفاظ على المعايير الأخلاقية للمنظمة.
• Additional Duties: Complete any additional tasks assigned by the Line Manager within designated timeframes, ensuring adherence to SHO’s quality standards.
