ERP analysis and design Consultant

Background:

Sahara Economic Development Organization (SEDO) is an Iraqi National NGO, it’s established in November 2007 as an independent NGO with its main office in Tikrit city. It focuses on developing the economic sector by providing business management training courses and counseling services to entrepreneurs and potential investors to enable them to efficiently contribute to the local economy. SEDO is considered among the most effective and qualified organizations in Iraq. It has conducted economic studies on the business environment in Iraq, identifying business opportunities and market niches for potential investors in Iraq. SEDO started humanitarian intervention in Iraq to respond to the urgent need for our beneficiaries, it’s works in WASH, Livelihood, protection, Food security, and Education sectors.

 

SEDO is seeking a highly capable ERP consultant to deploy ERP software at our organization. You will be consulting with senior management and departments to determine our ERP needs, analyzing the performance of our IT infrastructure, preparing the ToR for the developer, participating in the selection of the developer, and supervising the implementation of the ERP application.

The consultant should demonstrate extensive knowledge of IT system integration and the ability to document ERP processes. A first-class ERP consultant will be someone whose technical expertise results in optimized internal processes, services, and resource management.

 

 

Job description:

1. Evaluating existing SEDO’s IT infrastructure and recommending system improvements.
2. Analyze the daily, weekly, monthly, and annual processes inside the HR/Admin, Finance, Logistics, and Program departments.
3. Review the analysis with the related departments and management to reach the final analysis of ERP.
4. Preparing the ToR for the developers/programmers
5. Participating in the assessment of the technical offers and selection process for the developers.
6. Supervising the implementation of ERP software with the developer/programmers and answering their question.
7. Test the demo version of ERP and submit feedback to the developers
8. Testing the released version to ensure compliance with the ToR and receive it from the developers.
9. Training the key users to use the ERP.
10. Supervision the maintenance period with the developers and ensured the proper coding and use of the ERP.
11. Other duties may be suggested by the senior management team or the consultant himself.
