Job description
Who is Talent Nation?
We are an award-winning recruitment agency, that for over a decade, have placed key ESG talent into over 1/3 of the ASX100, influential private companies, and some of the best-known NGOs globally.
We generate impact by placing the changemakers into organisations who will:
- Deliver on Net Zero strategies.
- Influence policy to enable Australia to become an economic superpower in a post-carbon world.
- Green our urban environment.
- Repair our landscape through biodiversity programs.
- Channel the flow of capital into the right places such as renewables.
- Provide indigenous fire abatement practices.
- Develop carbon business models to turn waste into a resource.
- Provide tools to increase transparency around non-financial data.
- Build social programs to support communities in response to natural disasters.
- Improve the sustainability and environmental credentials of major infrastructure hubs.
- Improve the ability for organisations to disclose their performance against agreed targets.
And these are just the organisations we are working on right now…
What sets us apart?
A founding certified BCorp in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand (there are only 5 other BCorps that certified before us) and the first non-government funded recruitment agency to be Climate Active Certified Carbon Neutral. Talent Nation team members work here because we have always believed in what we do and want to create a lasting impact.
A percentage of our revenue is donated to environmental and social charities through our 1% for the Planet partnership, however the investment back into the community through donations, pro-bono work and impact driven discounts, is far greater than this. We believe passionately in the power of business as a force for good.
Who are you?
If you have a passion for people and impact, then Talent Nation offers you the opportunity to combine these in an environment that celebrates your success. Much like the individuals that we work with, your career path to this point may not be a linear one:
- You may have a recruitment background and volunteer in your spare time or be passionate about social or environmental causes.
- You may have a sustainability or environmental background but have always been drawn to the people aspects of your role.
- You bring a range of professional and life skills into your work and apply a structured approach to your work to take projects from inception to completion.
- You have a focus on delivering the best possible outcomes for all stakeholders.
What will you do?
- Deliver end-to-end recruitment assignments across ESG, Sustainability, Environment, Climate & Energy and Sustainable Finance.
- Continually learn and engage with SME’s to build your knowledge base.
- Develop and maintain relationships that enhance the mission and reputation of Talent Nation.
- Build collaborative relationships internally with the broader Talent Nation team.
- Source suitable candidates and brief them on specific opportunities.
- Provide quality and timely candidate communication throughout the hiring process.
Why join us?
Our team have been at the forefront of ESG, Sustainability, Environment, Climate & Energy and Sustainable Finance recruitment for over a decade, and the momentum has never felt so strong.
- Highly Successful Recruitment Model: Our proven recruitment methodology consistently delivers exceptional results.
- Supportive and Collaborative Team Environment: Join a team that values cooperation and mutual growth.
- Values driven approach: One of our values is to do the right thing, even when no one is looking, so our strong ethics underpin every decision.
- Every assignment is lifechanging: For every completed assignment, a scholarship is provided to support a girl to go through school with One Girl. This is not only a great social outcome, but also the number one way to combat climate change.
Accelerate the future you want by being the best at placing the right people in the right roles. If you would like to be part of a recruitment company that is passionate about powering positive change, and genuinely partnering with clients and candidates, we would love to hear from you.
